On the Path to Healing: Paved by AI
Abstract
Melanoma, a severe type of skin cancer, presents a significant challenge in Australia, where its incidence is 5.8 times higher than the global average. Yet, hope shines bright through the prism of AI.
The showcased image here vividly demonstrates AI’s ability to turn a story about a resilient melanoma patient into a compelling visual representation. Conversely, my research focuses on AI’s interpretation of melanoma cell images to predict the immunotherapy responses in melanoma patients. This image-based AI model aspires to deliver personalized treatment strategies, and ultimately offering a ray of hope to those battling this aggressive form of skin cancer.
