ISBI 2025 is using EDAS for paper management. ISBI 2025 is a single-blind reviewing process for full-length papers.
Reviewers are expected to maintain the high quality of reviews at IEEE ISBI, along with timely submission of the reviews, as follows.
- Indicate both strengths and weaknesses of the paper along with detailed justifications. Be specific in your comments. For example, one-liners or very generic comments aren’t usually helpful to the authors or to the program committee.
- If you give the highest or lowest rating to a paper, provide a strong justification for the rating.
- Strive to provide constructive feedback, e.g., to improve weak papers by addressing the weaknesses.
- While ranking each paper in your stack, try to assign ranks in order to sufficiently differentiate between papers.
- Strictly adhere to the deadline for review submission and strive to submit the reviews well before the deadline.
- We strongly discourage making any efforts to search, on the internet or otherwise, specifically for the identity of the authors for a manuscript under review. If at all you accidentally come across any additional information about the submitted manuscript from an external resource, it shouldn’t influence the review in any way.
- Reviewers conducting peer reviews for IEEE may not share information from an article with public artificial intelligence (AI) platforms for AI generation of text for the reviewer’s report. Doing so is considered a breach of confidentiality because AI systems generally learn from input. All reviewers conducting peer reviews for IEEE are required to provide substantive feedback, writing original review comments for the author’s and editor’s consideration. We expect reviewers to be responsible for comments they return on any article. You were invited to review because of your personal expertise and insight, which cannot be replicated by an AI tool.
All reviewers are strongly encouraged to read the Reviewers Best Practices through IEEE Access.
Instructions for Signing Up With EDAS:
If you have been approved as a reviewer by the TPC, you will receive an invitation to serve as a reviewer for ISBI 2025.
Once you have accepted the invitation, you will be asked to select the topic areas you feel knowledgeable enough to review.
You will also be asked to add any conflicts of interest. Conflicts by institutional affiliation and co-authorship of papers recorded in EDAS are automatic and should NOT be added here.
