Editors from two leading IEEE journals in biomedical imaging and engineering – IEEE Transactions on Biomedical Engineering (TBME) and IEEE Transactions on Medical Imaging (TMI) – will host an interactive session for ISBI attendees. Prof. Amir Amini (Editor of TBME) and Prof. Ge Wang (Editor of TMI) will provide an overview of their journals, including scope, editorial priorities, current initiatives, and the manuscript review and decision process.
The session will offer guidance on preparing strong submissions, understanding common reasons for rejection, and navigating the peer-review process. Following ppt presentations by the two editors, attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and engage directly with the editors about their expectations for high-impact work, and how best to position their research for consideration in these journals.
