International Symposium on Biomedical Imaging

ISBI 2027

Lausanne, Switzerland • 25th – 28th May 2027

Welcome to IEEE ISBI 2027

The IEEE International Symposium on Biomedical Imaging (ISBI) is a premier scientific conference dedicated to the mathematical, algorithmic, and computational aspects of biological and medical imaging across all scales. It fosters knowledge transfer across imaging communities and promotes an integrative approach to image-driven discovery in biology and medicine. ISBI is a joint initiative of the IEEE Signal Processing Society (SPS) and the IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society (EMBS).

2027 marks 25 years from the first edition of ISBI, and we are proud to celebrate this milestone at the EPFL – Swiss Federal Technology Institute of Lausanne, Switzerland — home to a world-class ecosystem in biomedical research and technology. Join us for an edition that brings together leading computational and life science researchers, as well as clinicians, to shape the next chapter of biomedical imaging.
