- All fees are in US Dollars and include VAT.
- Any person who provides a valid Czech Republic VAT number will be refunded for the VAT paid.
- One copy of the proceedings in electronic format (delivered on site) is included in the conference registration fee.
- No hard copy of the proceedings will be produced. Proceedings will be in electronic format only.
- Registration does not include the tutorials.
- Registration includes the Welcome Reception.

For Papers: Each accepted paper must have at least one author registered at a non-student rate. The registration deadline for 4-page paper authors is February 1st 2016. Papers which are not registered by the author registration deadline will be removed from the proceedings of the conference. One full registration can cover up to two papers and two 1-page abstracts.
For 1-page Abstracts: Each abstract must have at least one author registered at either a student rate or at a non-student rate. The registration deadline for 1-page abstract authors is February 15th 2016. Abstracts without a registration by the deadline will not be included in the program. One registration can cover up to two abstracts.
Author No Shows: EMBS enforces a strict “no show” policy. ISBI 2016 requires that each accepted paper be presented by one of the authors in-person at the conference site according to the schedule published. Any paper accepted into the technical program, but not presented on-site will be withdrawn from the proceedings published on IEEE Xplore ®. A substitution form must be completed and submitted by the corresponding author of any paper that has been included in the ISBI 2016 program if the corresponding author or any co-authors are no longer able to attend and present the paper in the conference.
Non-author Refund: Refund request should be made to isbireg@ieee.org. Cancellations will be subject to a US$50 cancellation fee before March 15th, 2016. NO REFUNDS will be made after March 15th, 2016. Cancellations must be made in writing by email and sent to isbireg@ieee.org.
Author Refund: At least one author of the paper must be registered in order to upload and register the camera ready paper. If complete payment is not received by the author registration deadline, the paper will be pulled from the publication in ISBI 2016. Author registration is NON-refundable. Registration fees can be transferred to another co-author ONLY under special circumstances. All transfer requests must be made in writing by email and sent to isbireg@ieee.org.
