Abstract
The wide adoption of digital pathology tools and the availability of whole slide imaging devices establish the foundation for the integration of tissue-based quantitative biomarkers in clinical practice. In parallel, the developments in proteomics and genomics bring a new perspective on the underlying biology. The integration of all these modalities into a coherent set of tests is a major challenge. In this workshop, several developments in the field of computational pathology will be presented by leading researchers in the field.
