STUDENT TRAVEL SCHOLARSHIPS
Travel Grant for US Trainees
ISBI 2023 announces the availability of ten $1,000 travel awards made available through a grant from the US National Institutes of Health, National Institute of Biomedical Imaging and Bioengineering. These awards will be distributed based on merit and need.
To be eligible, the first author of the ISBI 2023 paper should be either a student or a post-doctoral trainee at a US-based institution. IEEE ISBI and NIH support diversity in science and engineering, encouraging women and minorities to apply for travel stipends. Travel awards are limited to first authors of accepted full papers. If awarded, the recipient should present their paper in personat ISBI 2023.
Funds will support trainee’s travel (i.e., transportation, lodging) and will not support registration, honorariums, meals, or entertainment.
Application Deadline: March 10, 2023.
Notification: April 1, 2023.
Note that it is likely that funds will be disbursed subsequent to completion of the conference.
