Katherine Ferrara, Professor and Division Chief, Molecular Imaging Program at Stanford (MIPS), is joining ISBI 2024 in Athens as a plenary speaker. Katherine Ferrara, Ph.D., is a member of the National Academy of Engineering and a fellow of the IEEE, AAAS, the Biomedical Engineering Society, the World Molecular Imaging Society, the Acoustical Society of America and AIMBE. Dr. Ferrara is known for work in the development of contrast agents and molecular imaging techniques and instrumentation. She has received the WMIS Gold Medal, IEEE Biomedical Engineering Award, IEEE Achievement Award and IEEE Rayleigh Award.
