Pitch Competition winners

For a second year in a row, ISBI featured a Pitch Competition within the framework of the Industry Day. Five participating startups presented their solutions, which were assessed in terms of different criteria including novelty of technology, market potential, significance of application to medical and biomedical imaging, and their commercialization strategy. We are happy to announce the winners of the ISBI24 Pitch Competition!

1st Prize ($3000): BiTNet: Helping remedy the CCA problem in Mekong Basin for Healthy Living for All
2nd Prize ($1500): RadioEye: AI based reference tool for radiologists
3rd Prize ($1000): AI platform using smartphones for diagnostics and clinical research

Additionally, EIT Digital has offered a seat for free for each of the top three finishers in the competition in the 4th edition of the Speed Master that starts on September 10th, 2024
This year, we have also been able to offer a spot for the next accelerator program of StartSmart as “Popular vote” special prize. The prize has been awarded to the startup “Glimpse of Hygieia: Advancing Health Equity Through Accessible Skin Disease Detection”
